Invited Talks at AGU 2017

WindForS Director Dr. Andrew Clifton has been invited to present two talks at the American Geophysical Union Meeting in New Orleans in December 2017. The presentations take a systems perspective on wind energy in complex terrain.
One presentation, “Wind Doesn’t Just Stop at The Earth’s Surface”, will present some of WindForS more recent work about sound generation and transmission in the TremAc project. The second presentation, “The New WindForS Wind Energy Test Site in Southern Germany”, will present the meteorological studies that have been carried out so far at Stötten in the Lidar Complex, KonTest, and WINSENT projects.
