I’m a mechanical engineer with a focus on meteorological measurements, data analysis, and validation. I’ve been active in renewable energy for the last decade in Europe and North America, where I’ve picked up expertise in the interaction between energy systems and the weather. Before that I studied climate change and snow drift, and even further back I cut my teeth on traditional gas turbines.
I’m helping WindForS define and execute a strategy that will lead to cheaper, more socially acceptable wind energy that’s better integrated into the electricity network.
The WindForS offices are at the University of Stuttgart campus in Vaihingen, south west of Stuttgart.
