The 12th DEWEK Wind Energy Conference took place in Bremen on 19 and 20 May. WindForS was present with an exhibition stand and various scientific publications. Scientists from a number of WindForS institutes held lectures and presented posters. These institutes included the Institute of Aerodynamics and Gas Dynamics (IAG), Stuttgart Wind Energy (SWE), both affiliated with Stuttgart University, the Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the Wind Energy Institute of TU München and the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Po Wen Cheng (SWE), Prof. Dr. Stefan Emeis (KIT) and Andreas Rettenmeier of WindForS served on the Scientific Committee of the conference and as session chairmen.

Several posters and an animated video informed visitors at the stand about the planned test site. A scaled test site model also attracted numerous visitors.
